This study assesses how "Adapted Physical Education" theme is addressed during vocational training in ten undergraduate courses of Physical Education in the State and Federal public Colleges of the State of São Paulo, Brazil. This descriptive research evaluation was based on documental data available in the college's websites and also on semi-structured interviews with professors responsible for the referred discipline. All courses considered dedicate part of their didactic program to "Adapted Physical Education" that, with required internships and the complementary activities, totals between 60 -250 h activities, and at least one optional activity modality, such as community outreach projects or study and research groups dedicated to the Adapted Physical Education. We believe that all courses are dedicated to deeply study the subject in order to increase knowledge of the topic, a fact that has the potential to positively impact on future professionals that will be working with disabled persons.
