This article discusses the training as a contribution to prevent work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSD). It is based on an interdisciplinary experimental study between biomechanics and clinical work psychology carried out with municipal gravediggers. In this contribution, we are particularly interested in the development of one of the aspects of this interdisciplinary study: the design of a training tool. This tool allows for a discussion of the design of the training between the development of the gesture, professional training and continuous prevention of MSD. On the basis of the case study and the questions raised about different types of training (provision of knowledge and development of the professional gesture), we propose to reflect on a training material for prevention, organized between scientific knowledge on MSD and professional knowledge. © 2024 Presses Universitaires de France.
