APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP TO IMPROVE ACADEMIC CULTURE IN HIGHER EDUCATION IN THE FACE OF SOCIETY ERA 5.0

Abstract

This study aims to identify the improvement of academic culture with application of artificial intelligence (AI) in entrepreneurship courses in universities. This study uses a descriptive method with a case-based selection approach. This study involved 797 students at two universities in Central Java, Indonesia. The four cultural dimensions used in this study are power distance (PD), uncertainty avoidance (AU), Individualism-Collectivism (IC), and Masculinity-Femininity (MF). Data was obtained using observation, interviews and documentation. The data before being analyzed were tested for content validity and reliability test with Cronbach’s alpha. The results show that the four cultural dimensions affect improving academic culture with entrepreneurship courses. The results of this study can be used as a basis for fostering the four dimensions of academic culture through entrepreneurial learning. Entrepreneurship courses in improving academic culture can spur students to be more resilient and creative in dealing with problems, foster a sense of togetherness, and increase the equality of roles between men and women. College graduates who take entrepreneurship courses will be more adaptive to all changes in the Society 5.0 era. © (2023), (Procedia Environmental Science). All rights reserved.
