Entrepreneurship Education (EE) is renowned for developing students’ managerial aptitudes, skills, and ideas for self-reliance. The inclusion of digital technology and innovation in EE is necessary to enhance Entrepreneurial Intention (EI) and Entrepreneurial Motivation (EM) for technological revolution and economic development. The aim of the systematic literature review is to (i) identify the current study on digital technologies, innovation, EE, EI, and EM, (ii) highlight how digital technology and innovation shape EE to achieve EI and motivation among students, and (iii) offer new advice on the future EE in a digital era. A search strategy was instituted to ascertain the required publications from Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ, IEEE, ProQuest, SAGE Journals, Taylor & Francis, and Wiley. The publications were between 2010 and 2024, with no language restrictions. Out of the 108 identified publications from the search, 69 publications representing 54 separate papers were used in the review. Digital transformation in EE requires significant studies to determine its role in economic development and job creation. This review identified several themes in the publications, such as innovation, motivation, skills development, digital technology, EE’s impact, and factors of EE. The sustainability and future expectations of EE through digital technology and innovation are highlighted in the review. The study identified several findings, such as factors depriving EE, such as experience, investment, teachers, infrastructure, technology, market size, government, competition, culture, and funds. Further findings are a strategic vision of EE through policies to embrace innovation and digital technology practices and to achieve EM and EI. Also, the selected papers for the review are current publications at 61.1%, the quantitative method at 42.3% and journal articles at 88.9%. It is prudent to review EE’s appropriateness in a digital and innovative environment and to identify the impact on EM and EI among students. © 2024 by the authors.

The challenges of working with various dynamics and diverse job opportunities require students to have self-efficacy and creativity. Self-efficacy emphasizes courage in solving work challenges and creativity related to the supporting capacity of student innovation. This study aims to develop a peer-project-based learning (Peer PbL) model through model feasibility testing and model effectiveness testing. The research method uses a research and development approach by testing the model using an experimental method with a one-shot case study design. A total of 15 students were involved in this research, with the main topic discussion being CNC turning simulation. The results showed that the steps in the Peer-PbL model include team creation, providing challenges, preparing project plans, validating project suitability, doing projects, monitoring team performance, project presentations, and peer assessment. Feasibility assessments from machine learning experts, learning technologists, evaluation experts, CNC professionals, and CAD/CAM professionals indicate strong rater results and correlations. The results of testing the effectiveness of the Peer-PbLmodel in implementing classroom conditions turned out to be able to increase self-efficacy and creativity before and after the Peer-PbL model. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into educational frameworks has encouraged innovative approaches to curriculum development, particularly in vocational high schools in Indonesia. This research investigates the integration between principals’ leadership styles, teachers’ roles, and the implementation of AI-driven ‘Merdeka’ curriculum innovations in this context. Using a correlational method with a quantitative approach, data were collected from vocational high schools in Padang using a proportional random sampling technique. As a research instrument was a questionnaire that underwent content and construct validity assessments and was tested for reliability using Cronbach’s alpha. Data analysis used Pearson product moment correlation and multiple correlation. By analyzing the dynamics in a vocational high school, the study aims to provide valuable insights into the effective integration of AI technologies in education, offering theoretical contributions to the educational leadership discourse and practical guidance for stakeholders in navigating the complexities of curriculum innovation in Indonesia’s vocational education sector. © 2024 Halomoan Halomoan et al.; published by UIKTEN. Employability skills are essential for job placement in the industry. Students need to enhance relevant employability skills for IR 4.0 based on their work sector, as the required skills differ for each sector. However, there is a skill gap between academic institutions and the industry needs. The previous research precited that the skill gap would be more comprehensive in Industrial Revolution 4.0. Hence, this research aims to find the required employability skills for the industry. This research used previous studies published between 2018 and 2023. Databases such as WoS of Science, Scopus and Google Scholar were used to search articles from academic journals using the following keywords: employability skills, IR 4.0, business education, and industry demands. This study used a narrative review to explore the required employability skills for the industry. The analysis comprises 53 academic articles. Based on the thematic analysis, three themes were developed for this review. Namely, relevant employability skills for the industry's current and future needs are grouped under the categories of key skills, contextual skills, digital skills, and social skills. Moreover, required skills for business studies are grouped under soft skills, hard skills, and personal traits. This research recommends that academic institutions collaborate with the industry to prepare relevant graduates for the industry. © 2024, SHPMedia Sdn Bhd. All rights reserved.

This article presents a study on team talk in psychosocial rehabilitation with reference to collective decision making. It focuses on problem formulation processes that occur during weekly team meetings in a Swiss organization providing psychosocial rehabilitation to chronic mental health patients. The corpus of team meetings (34 hours of recorded talk) was analyzed along three narrative dimensions: participation framework, timeline organization and forms of evaluation. The analysis was supported by ethnographic information (field notes collected during participant observation over ten months), in order to access the local conception and organization of rehabilitation work, which is repeatedly referred to and reshaped through discourse. The discursive practices identified show that team members learn to formulate problems in a way that allows them to identify and plan interventions in line with their rehabilitation model and the actual opportunities they have. Further, the role-related forms of participation highlight how different professionals contribute to the problem formulation in specific ways. In sum, the interaction turns out to be strongly centralized around the role of a meeting coordinator, who is able to enhance the participation of the other team members and to build institutional narratives on the basis of individual contributions, carrying out discursive work that can be metaphorically described as the weaving and knotting threads that make up a tapestry. © © 2024 University of Toronto Press.

This research is developed by systematizing the literature on STEAM education in relation to skills, strategies, training, implementation and competencies. An SLR methodology is applied focused on the field of education, 46 articles were selected from the Scopus, Eric and WOS Database from the last five years, complemented with quantitative research to verify the frequency of the variables in the documentary review. The results are articulated in a design to propose a teacher training model in STEAM education, for which three dimensions are taken into consideration based on the educational actors (pre-professional, professional and expert) in order to work on the different indicators that allow a logical and systematic sequence to implement STEAM education in current educational contexts that require the development of complex competencies, mediated by emerging technologies. It is evident that teachers, from their initial training to their professional development as experts, face the challenge of preparing new generations to solve complex problems and effectively promote the development of 21st century skills, in this way, Teacher training programs contribute significantly to their professional performance, playing a crucial role in the transformation of pedagogical practice, strengthening teaching professionalism and promoting a culture of research, generating a positive impact on the quality of current education. © 2024, Creative Publishing House. Purpose: The current study intends to synthesise the prior studies on employability skills among work-ready professionals in higher education through bibliometric and network visualisation tools. This study also identifies the gaps in the existing literature that still need to be filled and maps the course for future investigation. Design/methodology/approach: The current study examined research papers on employability skills among work-ready professionals in higher education to evaluate global patterns and the top authors, institutions, journals, and nations contributing to this field. The authors analysed eight hundred eighty-five papers from the Scopus database between 1982 and 2023 for the study. Open-source bibliometric tools like Biblioshiny were used in the study to examine the body of literature and to spot new directions for future research. Findings: The study’s findings indicate that since 2008, researchers, academics, and policymakers have paid more attention to employability skills among work-ready professionals, and 2019 is the year seeing the highest no. of publications. Across the globe, 2077 authors contributed to the articles, papers, and journals published in the particular domain. Regarding location, the United Kingdom is the world’s most productive nation, with 342 articles produced. Similarly, Australia, India, and Malaysia are the leading nations that have contributed to the field. Both keywords significantly contribute to scientific knowledge. Practical implications: The gaps in this study will serve as a reference point for researchers conducting future studies in this field. Additionally, the result of this analysis offers a roadmap for higher education to enhance graduate employability by embedding necessary skills into them. Originality/value: There has not been a bibliometric analysis concerning employability skills among Work-ready professionals in the existing literature; hence, this article is innovative. This study is the first attempt at integrating the concept. The study also gives an overview of potential directions for future research in this discipline. © 2024, Emerald Publishing Limited.

Purpose: This article argues that the potential of the vast amount of research, published each year in the history of education, remains untapped. Given the rapidly growing number of academic publications in the field, there is a need for research that is based on articles, chapters and monographs already published. While analyses of existing research publications are widely used in other academic disciplines, such approaches remain under-utilized in the history of education. Design/methodology/approach: The argument of this article is supported in three steps. Firstly, we distinguish between different forms of research using existing data and research publications, in particular secondary analyses, systematic literature reviews and meta-analyses. Due to the heterogeneous nature of research publications in educational history, this article argues for the method of qualitative meta-analysis. Secondly, we discuss the risks and methodological pitfalls of research using existing research publications, outlining possible areas of application and discuss examples of meta-analyses in educational history. Finally, the article explores the implications of an increased use of meta-analyses, especially for the editors of scientific journals. Findings: This article provides an introduction to the main features of meta-analysis as applied in history of education. By promoting qualitative meta-analyses as original research, we argue that journals could help ensure that the potential for vibrant and highly productive research in the history of education is fully realized. Originality/value: Despite that the use of published research is widely discussed in the behavioural and social sciences, there is a lack of reflection on how to use the knowledge produced in the history of education. The article is devoted to the role of higher education in the formation of soft skill competencies among workers in the service industry. It provides an overview of the research base on which research related to the study of innovations in the field of education is based. The role of higher education in the formation of "softskills" as the competencies of service sector employees based on the subject-object area of research is also substantiated. The concept "skills" is considered both in domestic and foreign experience. Terminology and classifications of this concept are being updated. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences. The article is devoted to the analysis of modern trends in the development of professional education in the beauty industry. The review of materials and publications of theoretical provisions of scientific works on the problems of research is given, the structure and requirements for the component of professional education of the direction of training in the beauty industry are considered. The specifics and multi-stage nature of vocational education in this industry are revealed. Attention is focused on obtaining a working specialty, secondary vocational and higher education. Innovative methods and campaigns are considered, allowing to form the required competencies of the future specialist of the beauty industry. The higher educational institutions implementing the training of students in the direction of "Service, fashion and beauty industry" are presented. The geographical distribution of Higher educational institutions that provide training for students in the direction of "Service, fashion and beauty industry" is presented. The paper reveals the essence of the beauty industry and analyzes the geographical location of the annual profile events of this industry, which make it possible to organize and conduct practical training as production sites. Special attention in this study focuses on the need to switch to blended learning, that is, a combination of traditional and online learning. In this regard, the use of innovations in the professional education of beauty industry personnel seems optimal, taking into account several areas of education. Traditional and practice-oriented approaches in education are the main such directions. Education should be comprehensive and end-to-end, approaches should be applied in parallel, at the same time complement each other and consistently go through the entire learning process. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences.
